5 Minute Raw Tacos

This recipe is perfect if you need a fast fix for tacos but you’re on that New Year crackdown in your diet.

First always buy organic produce and rinse your produce when you get home with either a vinegar and water solution or a baking soda solution (non organic is not recommended but do what you can).

Next once you have pat your wrap dry (you can use collard greens, romaine hearts, or lactino kale) set these aside.

Next slice an avocado (to tell if your avocado is ripe push the stem off and if the circle is brown you’re good to go. Green is not ripe yet).

Take 2 cans of chick peas and rinse them off in a colander. In a food processor add the chickpeas, 1 cup of walnuts, 2 Tbs of liquid aminos, coconut aminos, or low sodium soy sauce (whichever you prefer). Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp cayenne, 1/2 cumin, 1/2 tsp onion powder and pulse until blended to a meat like consistency.

Plate your tacos and add some salsa or verde or any other toppings you may like.

Would a minor/coconut be found next to the soy? I have a Ninja I think would work. These look very easy and good.h

Yummy- truly 5 minutes. We needed a quick Sabbath lunch after church that kiddo would eat. So easy so yummy. Could easily eat it on its own. We had it spread in whole wheat tortilla added olives, salsa but better plain. Thank you for the recipe. My 15 month old loved it. Of note we did not need the salt at all, the liquid aminos was salty enough, and we nix-ed the cayenne to keep it from being too spicy for kiddo ( sad tale for an Indian mom), I did not want to get the food processor out so I put it in our high speed blender with the walnuts on bottom. Also for kiddo, she has not gotten the hang of nuts yet so I took out her portion and was able to finely blend it in the coffee grinder ( she would have handled the chickpeas not the bits yet). Thank you soooo much best quick and tasty meal.
